Full restoration from top to bottom of a classic victorian triplex in the Plateau neighbourhood of Montreal. For this project we restored the metal roofing and cornice, all the wood around the balcony as well as the massive victorian doors. All the wood was completely stripped with the infrared heat stripping system that we often use. We refreshed all the hand painted ornate details in gold and silver. The doors on this project were original, 8ft tall and 3 inches thick! restoring these was no easy task. We also updated all the hardware with new and beautiful hardware that was still true to the victorian era.
